Advisers at Sussex Downs College are urging employers to take advantage of free training for teenagers.
The college, which has campuses in Eastbourne and Lewes, wants to broaden access to NVQs, modern apprenticeships and basic skills courses to all employees, especially 16 to 17-year-olds.
Training adviser Will Southcote-Want said: "By reaching out to employers and ensuring advantage is taken of any financial assistance available, we are confident we can convince them training offers huge benefits, including staff retention, increased productivity and better morale."
