As custodian of St Andrew's, I would like to thank everyone who attended the concert of The Hermitage Choir from St Petersburg last week.
I am delighted to say the church was filled to capacity and the generosity from the collection will help to continue with the restoration work. Thank you, everyone who was here.
St Andrew's Church is also available for poetry readings and I would like to develop a poets' society for a collective reading in the church.
There is no charge for this, but a small donation from poets to the church's conservation trust is always welcome.
Any poet interested should contact me at St Andrew's on 01273 326491 or visit me at St Andrew's.
This would be a way of both letting people hear their poetry and helping the Conservation Trust maintain St Andrew's.
