The wave of illegal immigration benefits only lawyers and landlords. It's cynical to compare it to World War II or genuine refugees.
The cost of housing or health care is not taken into account by this Government.
Brighton and Hove City Council has jobs at £5 an hour but houses and flats cannot be bought on such wages.
Local people have to go north for accommodation and people die or wait years for operations because the NHS can't cope.
I moved from Hove to Bexhill because I could not afford the local housing costs. A country that can't care for the people already here has no right to import more.
This should be one of the most difficult countries to get into unless you have a needed skill or are a genuine refugee, as it is already overcrowded,
I note Australia is 55 times the size of England and is not taking in all and sundry.
