A former Bond Girl helped bring 007-style intrigue to Shoreham Harbour.
Actress Valerie Leon, who starred with Sean Connery in Never Say Never Again and Roger Moore in The Spy Who Loved Me, recreated her roles to help launch the Adur Festival.
Ms Leon, now 59, also appeared in The Revenge Of The Pink Panther, six Carry On films and the Hammer House of Horror movie Blood From The Mummy's Tomb.
The annual festival this year has an 007 theme night as part of its two-week run in June.
Organisers staged a spectacular Bond-style launch with a helicopter, hovercraft and speedboat with Shoreham's waterski-ing vicar Father Marcus Ronchetti playing Oddfelt.
The action converged on Coronation Green, where his efforts to capture the full print run of the festival brochure were successfully thwarted by James Broadband.
Ms Leon said: "I think it is very important to back arts festivals like Adur as they encourage and develop new talent."
