The article about taggers getting caught by police where one received a caution while the other was fined only £200 (The Argus, April 7) must be some kind of joke.

This cost the owner of the building company £300.

It's about time the magistrates who pass these sort of fines were sacked.

The taggers should have been fined at least £1000 and made to go around Brighton cleaning graffiti.

That might make them think twice about this sort of criminal damage.
