Gemma Spofforth bounced back from missing out on a place in Britain's Olympic team with a win double at the Australian Age Group Championships in Perth.
Gemma, 16, from Slindon, won the 100m and 200m backstroke in 1min.03.49sec and 2min.15.14sec respectively.
The Bognor club member opted not to swim the 200m backstroke final in the Olympic trials at Sheffield so she could compete down under. She was eighth in the 100m backstroke final at the trials.
Kayleigh Wiles scored a hat-trick of victories to help Brighton finish fourth at the prestigious Ealing Open.
She claimed the 11-year-olds' 100m freestyle and butterfly and the 200m butterfly.
Clubmate Amy Kent enjoyed two wins in the 16 and overs' 100m breaststroke and 200m individual medley. Holly completed a double in the 15-year-olds' 100m butterfly and freestyle, while Jack Smith took the 100m breaststroke in the same age group.
Emma Harding (Shiverers, Hove) helped her club finish fifth by winning the ten-year-olds' 100m butterfly and breaststroke.
Clubmate Matthew Wooldridge claimed the 13-year-olds' 100m backstroke. In 11-year-olds' events, Richard Thorne (East Grinstead) won the 100m freestyle and Laura Froshaug (Crawley) the 200m freestyle.
Christopher Ruxton made it two wins for East Grinstead when he triumphed in the 14-year-olds' 100m breaststroke.
