Last summer, I lamented that good cheese had become so scarce in Brighton and Hove that enthusiasts had to travel to Lewes and Shoreham to satisfy their heart's desire.
How cheering, then, to find that the owners of the Coriander restaurant in Hove Street have taken over the neighbouring premises and opened a deli with abundant cheese - and more.
This is the best news since - well, Hove library was saved. What greater joy can there be on a sunny day than to browse in the bright Carnegie building, enjoy the tang of printed pages and then amble round the corner for that of unpasteurised brie?
