Coach of the year Nick Nurse cannot believe more of his players were not honoured for winning the title.
Nurse was named best coach in the BBL after guiding Brighton Bears to top spot.
Scottish Rocks' Jerry Williams was player-of-the-year, voted for by coaches, with Bears' Kendrick Warren third.
Nurse was delighted with his award but said: "I don't see any reason why we could not have had more players in the top ten. Rico Alderson should certainly be in there."
Each coach was asked to select a top ten of players. Nurse's No. 1 pick was Newcastle's Jeremy Hyatt.
Bears have reluctantly abandoned plans to travel to Latvia this weekend and will give players time to rest.
