Horsham boss John Maggs says he knows what improvements are needed for next season.
The Hornets suffered their fourth defeat in five games when they went down 3-0 in the final home game against Staines Town.
Three goals in the first ten minutes of the second half by Julian Sills, Andre De Lisser and Gavin Tomlin did the damage.
All the recent defeats have been against teams in the top six of division one south and Maggs says they have shown him there is work to do in the summer.
He said: "I thought we played well in recent games, but the results have shown me how far away we really are from those teams."
