Shoreham Port chairman Rod Danes unveiled an image-boosting new logo today.

Mr Danes was joined by Shoreham and East Worthing MP Tim Loughton at the launch event.

The port handles about 1.75 million tonnes of cargo a year, employs 85 people and has a £7.5 million turnover.

Mr Danes, who became chairman in March, said: "I think, at times, we have failed to communicate that success to our stakeholders and particularly the local community.

"We want to make all stakeholders aware of our progress and plans for the future."
