I must congratulate the contractors behind the new waterfront building at Brighton Marina.

I remember hearing of the plans a few years ago and of the public opinion regarding them.

I looked around the run down playground and bare mud ground where grass once stood. The marina always comes into its own in the summer but in the winter did appear a little depressing among the wind and rain.

But here we are, a few years on, and it is going from strength to strength.

The restaurants and shopping has never had so much variety.

The property has become highly desirable and even in the winter the marina is a great place to be.

So, well done for giving the marina a new lease of life and many more happy winter and summers to come.
