A strong Crystal Palace side proved too much for Albion's second string at Selhurst Park last night, thrashing them 5-0.
Palace, whose starting line-up boasted nine players who have figured for the first team this season, ensured they ended the Pontins' Holidays Combination season on a winning note.
Albion were not helped by injuries. They lost captain Dean Hammond after 14 minutes, while Chris Breach was forced off just before half-time.
Jake Robinson hit the post from 20 yards with the score at 1-0.
Albion Reserves: Jones; Piper, Rents, Breach, Elphick, Pitcher, Beck, Hammond, Windsor, Robinson, Watson.
