Well, another summer is arriving - birds are singing, the sun is shining and a new wave of foreign students is being victimised.
Already this year we have read about a group being attacked "with iron bars" in Southwick and I have seen a coach in Sainsbury's car park, West Hove, covered in eggs. Indeed, I saw a man removing items from the exhaust. On speaking to the organiser, I was informed she had just been with a group - again in Southwick - that had been held by the throat against a wall and even threatened with a knife.
What is going on? Can anybody explain the thinking behind these actions (or am I mistaken to assume they can actually think?)?
Surely there must be better things to do in the area - even if it is only picking up the rubbish from the streets that is rarely collected?
Indeed, with the rubbish on the streets - both refuse and human - one wonders why students should want to come to our otherwise wonderful area at all.
It is ironic that these students do more for our economy in a week's stay than many of these idiots contribute in their lifetime!
