John Jolliffe's reply to Peter Willows is disingenuous in the extreme (Letters, May 24).
He is well aware tenants are not being given the facts needed to make an informed choice about the future of their homes.
At the conference he chaired, speakers from housing associations and arm's length management organisations were given a platform but only after complaints from delegates was Defend Council Housing allowed a five-minute slot to put the case for staying with the council.
Far from being based on "emotion, half-truths and political rhetoric", this is based on hard facts which the council and some of its lackeys would prefer tenants didn't have access to.
Tenants can check out www.defendcouncilhousing.org.uk or send a stamped, addressed envelope to DCH, 72 Tillstone Street, Brighton, for a copy of the latest newspaper.
