My telephone never stopped ringing after your front page picture of Kitten Pinder (The Argus, May 29).
We were all upset that this woman, who looks no older than a schoolgirl, was wearing a "sailorboy" outfit and at least two war ribbons on the left side.
It is an offence to wear any military badge or any war medals or ribbons.
This is an insult to ex-service people who wear their medals with pride, especially with the anniversary of D-Day just a few days away.
