The winner of Britain's biggest National Lottery jackpot is heading for the divorce court - where he could lose half his fortune.
Mark Gardiner, 42, married Brenda four months after he and his business partner scooped £22.6 million in June 1995.
Their daughter Katie-Jane was just a few weeks old.
But the couple split up in January this year and are heading for the courtroom next month for what will be Mr Gardiner's fourth divorce.
In an exclusive interview he told The Argus: "We are going through the divorce where the financial side will be sorted out. Hopefully we can move on."
A leading expert on family law said Brenda could be in line for up to half of his remaining money.
He said: "For big-money cases the courts increasingly seek to equalise the assets unless there is a good reason why they should not.
"Family law is based on discretion and there are guiding factors such as the length of the marriage, the age and resources of the parties and the welfare of any children.
"But it is possible he could lose half his assets."
