The general response from Hove residents is outrage at the constant demolition of family homes so they can be replaced with uncharacteristic blocks of flats.
We are currently campaigning against the demolition of 51 Wilbury Avenue and in doing so have discovered fellow residents in a similar situation and others who are just plain angry at the present trend.
The council meeting at Hove Town Hall deciding the fate of the family house mentioned will be held on Wednesday at 2pm.
If you have strong views on the current issues of the council and their planning department we urge you to attend the meeting and give us your support.
It could help slow down the current trend and make the council realise the residents of Hove have had enough of the devastation of family houses, gardens and wildlife.
Hove is an already concentrated housing area and the schools,
hospitals and roads are already overcrowded but the council wants
to cram in more flats and people without providing the proper facilities.
Please help to support our campaign by attending the above meeting.
