THANK YOU. These two short words to the First City Winter Ball Committee feel hugely inadequate in response to their donation of over £61,000 to the Pink Dolphin Appeal.
This enormous sum, dedicated to purchasing a special new piece of medical equipment for the new Breast Cancer Centre at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, is a tremendous boost for the appeal and wonderful news to everyone associated with the Pink Dolphin.
Their spectacular Winter Ball was the highlight of a series of successful events brilliantly organised by members of the committee.
The appeal is fortunate to have Robbie and Debbie Raggio as patrons. Special thanks to them both and to all of the committee for recognising how much this very local charitable appeal needs your support.
We are grateful for the way these prominent and influential members of the local business community have all helped to promote the Pink Dolphin Appeal. The committee's success is an inspiration to all of us trying to fundraise within the community.
Most of us know someone who has been affected by breast cancer so, on behalf of everyone who will benefit from the latest medical technology this donation will make possible, thank you.
-Jayne Bennett, Leonie Petrarca and Sue Addis on behalf of the Pink Dolphin Appeal
