People who get off trains at a busy station will now know how long they must wait for a bus to continue their journey.
Electronic bus information boards have been installed on the concourse at Brighton station.
The two new signs show the departure time of every bus from the station, which is used by seven million people every year.
Roger French, managing director of the Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company, said: "They'll be eye-catching for commuters as they leave the train and will reassure everyone exactly what time the buses will be departing from outside the station."
The signs have been jointly funded by the bus firm and Brighton and Hove City Council, which is keen to encourage integrated transport projects.
