Did John Styles actually see Vodou Nation (The Argus, July 15)?
I left at the earliest opportunity (the interval) with a dozen or so others.
The singing from the lead guitarist can only be described as a bad karaoke performance and even this does not truly describe the audience's shock and horror as we had to endure his tone-deaf performance.
The dancing, to quote John, was far from exuberant - more primary school production.
Brighton's people have already put enough money into the Dome and don't want to be duped into giving their hard-earned money for performance of this quality.
By the way, word had obviously spread about the quality of the show despite John's glowing review as there were only seven dozen people in attendance on the closing night.
What a waste of this wonderful venue we paid for.
