A project which helps community-minded businesses carry out volunteer work has been embraced by a Hove firm.
Electricity and gas supplier EDF Energy, which employs 1,100, is the 60th company to join the Business Community Partnership.
It is following the lead of other employers in the city - including Amex and Bupa - in embracing corporate responsibility.
EDF staff have taken part in projects including scrub clearing on the Downs and gardening at a playgroup.
Last month Hangleton Community Junior School in Hove won EDF's School Grounds Awards, a project encouraging youngsters to care for their environment.
EDF's Elizabeth Metcalf said: "It is a fantastic way to learn new skills."
