Businesses are competing to be named the greenest and cleanest.
Firms that can show they have reduced pollution, particularly carbon dioxide emissions, are most likely to win a sustainable business award, organised by the South-East England Development Agency.
There are three categories depending on the size of business: Small for fewer than 50 employees; medium for 50 to 250; and large for more than 250. A black-tie presentation dinner will be held in November.
