Don't just look at the Connaught Road sculptures, look at what's around them.

First, note developer Karis has rebuilt the corner of Connaught Road to a very high standard - kerbs have been properly lowered rather than just flattened and asphalt neatly finished. Well done.

Second, note this street corner is spoilt by unnecessary street signs, installed on the principle of don't buy one when six will do. Councillor Averil Older should be trying to get these ugly signs removed instead of attacking sculptures which at least attempt to raise the tone of the local environment.
