The sculptures by Karis are said to be for the city of Brighton and Hove.
Are they are a thank you for Brighton and Hove City Council giving it the King Alfred site to make a potential huge profit from an oversize development with its 600 flats?
To me, they help highlight that the Karis development in Connaught Place has the majority of its flats still for sale despite having been marketed all summer. Surely this shows there is no demand for eyesore buildings in Hove?
