Carphone Warehouse is to create jobs in Brighton as part of its expansion plans.
The mobile phone retailer is hiring 800 sales consultants across the UK in readiness for Christmas and will retain them as permanent staff.
The company expects to create 15 posts in Brighton, where it has outlets in Churchill Square and East Street.
Patrick Charlton, divisional retail manager, said: "We are expanding aggressively and in order to sustain that growth we must ensure we have the necessary number of people to continue to offer our customers a better mobile life."
