I read the analysis of the letters page in Feedback and agree about the weight of letters regarding parking and the council but my non-researched perception is the preponderance of the Seagulls and their stadium, boring, repetitive (my lone opinion?) and the poor old West Pier.
On this last I do so strongly agree with the correspondent of a few weeks ago who pleaded for the rescue of the little white kiosk.
This is now the only recognisable feature remaining and it is heart-wrenching to see it standing out amidst the wreck.
Surely there is enough money in the fund to bring it safe to shore before the winter weather sets in?
It should be easy to find some practical use for it too - a seafront office for the collection of fund donations from the holidaymakers, perhaps?
And does Burgess Hill constitute "outside the area?"
