It's all very well Rottingdean Parish Council chairman Peter Hampton criticising plans for the much-needed bus lanes along the A259 coast road (The Argus, August 25) but from where I sit (on the 8.05am bus from Peacehaven every morning) they make perfect sense.
The bus lanes will speed my journey and the journeys of all the other 65 passengers on the bus.
You never know, I may even be tempted to get off at Rottingdean one day and enjoy its ambience.
