Horsham have won the Sussex Cup and could complete the double this weekend.
They made the most of home advantage at Cricketfield Road to defeat second division champions Preston Nomads by four wickets with ten overs to spare.
On Saturday, Horsham are at home to Hastings in the league and could clinch the title.
Nomads decided to bat first but were never allowed to settle against an impressive bowling attack.
They struggled to 142-9 from their 45 overs, David Smith making 33 and skipper Will Davis 25, and the total was swelled by 31 extras.
Horsham's left-arm spinner Mark Nash, with 50 league wickets this season, conceded only 12 runs from nine overs, although he did not take a wicket.
His brother Chris grabbed 2-35, Luke Marshall 2-19 and Sussex's Carl Hopkinson 3-31.
Howard and Chris Nash then added 30 for the first wicket before Paul Gallagher (45 not out) guided Horsham home.
