I will rejoice if Safeway moves into the Quadrant site and out of St. James's Street.

Morrisons, offering "the very best for less", has lowered some prices while reducing the quality of the produce and cutting lines, phasing out obviously unpopular products such as chocolate ice-cream, couscous and free-range meat.

Safeway used to serve our city community as a complete supermarket in its small plot. Now I can't wait until Sir Ken sells it off to someone who can run a shop for people who care what they eat.
