Staff at law firm Thomas Eggar were celebrating today after being described as "the envy of the South-East" in The Lawyer UK's annual report.
According to the survey, the firm, which has offices in Chichester, Horsham and Worthing, retained its position as the 66th most successful law practice in the country.
The Lawyer 100 offers a detailed picture of the legal sector, providing information on a range of financial performance indicators.
The past year has seen Thomas Eggar's turnover grow from £25.3 million to £27.05 million, allowing the firm to sustain its ranking in a highly competitive market.
Tony Edwards, who became managing partner in May, said "One of my goals when taking on this role was to consolidate our position as a leading firm. Our 2004 ranking demonstrates that we are succeeding in achieving our objectives."
