Hunting supporter Stephen Mockford says he went to London to stage a peaceful protest but ended up with blood pouring down his face from police batons (The Argus, September 17).
Did he really think the protest would be peaceful? I can't believe he is that naive.
Looking at the protest objectively, the police had a barrier to stop protesters and used batons as a last resort to keep them back.
I think we can all imagine just how furious these protesters were, knowing hunting could be banned.
The way the "Famous Five" protesters reached the House of Commons and yelled at MPs reminded me of the devious and bullying tactics used when hunting an animal - the only thing missing was the hunting horn.
Mr Mockford says hunting is a sport and part of his soul.
I certainly do not consider hunting a sport because in sport the two sides are evenly matched - need I say more?
