I echo the sentiments of Green Party spokesman Nigel Tart when he says it's time to get back to our common roots and start fighting prejudice in a joined-up way (Letters, September 18).
Racism is nonsensical to me and I certainly find it non-arguable intellectually.
It is in some part a fear of anything different so one way to fight it is with knowledge.
This helps dissipate ignorance, an essential element of racism and prejudice.
