Borough manager Garry Wilson is hoping to keep Albion trainee Gary Elphick for a bit longer.
The young defender was drafted in on work experience for a one-off appearance against Dorchester and scored a consolation goal in a 3-1 away defeat.
Wilson said: "It was meant to be just for this game but he did well and I will look to try and keep him for a bit longer if we can."
Borough, who lost defender Darren Baker with a facial injury midway through the first half, went behind to a Justin Keeler goal three minutes before the break.
Keeler added another from the penalty spot after Stuart Tuck brought down Matt Groves, before completing his hat-trick on 74 minutes.
Wilson said: "We struggled from the moment Darren Baker went off."
