I am surprised none of the recent letters in The Argus regarding demolishing nice homes and replacing them with blocks of "affordable" flats has mentioned the major reason for this happening.

Clearly, the majority of those leaving the nice homes would vote Conservative and the majority of those moving into "affordable" flats would vote Labour. What else can one expect from a Labour council?

I believe in Westminster it was called gerrymandering.
