A web design company has revamped a college's internet site to make it more user-friendly for disabled people.
KDM Consultants, based in Robertson Road, Brighton, was asked to redesign City College's web pages to meet the disability benchmark.
The college's web site now turns text into sound for visually impaired users and allows them to enlarge the size of the text.
A Disability Rights Commission investigation showed two-thirds of the UK's top 100 companies' web sites were failing the disabled.
Vernice Halligan, director of marketing at City College, added: "Equality and accessibility are very important to us and we are always striving to improve all areas of service."
