I have been an avid reader of The Argus for a long time. I feel it beats any other hands down.
As a mother of two, I encourage my children (eight and ten) to read your paper as it is essential for children to be aware of local and national current affairs. It also improves their reading and debating skills.
Lately, I have signed up to have your paper delivered and am very satisfied with this service.
Unfortunately, however, I was horrified when my eight-year-old daughter pulled the paper out of the letterbox and came to me in tears on Tuesday. She had read your front page and was very upset about the photograph you printed.
While it is important to be aware of what madness goes on in this world, I feel that just to know a dead horse was dumped in town is enough. Let my imagination do the rest please.
