Garry Wilson is determined to get Eastbourne Borough to the first round of the FA Cup this season after cruelly missing out last time round.
Sutton United visit Priory Lane tomorrow in the second qualifying round as Borough attempt to erase the painful memory of their fall at the final hurdle last season.
Scott Ramsay had seemingly booked Borough's place in the first round by giving them a two-goal lead at home against Stevenage Borough in the fourth qualifying round, only for the visitors to force a replay which they won 1-0.
Wilson said: "It would be great to get to the first round because it is something I have always wanted to do. I've been close a few times and just missed out so hopefully this year we can go one step further.
"A good Cup run is so important because when you get near to the first round it creates a real buzz around the club which lifts the fans, players and management."
Wilson is expecting a much more exciting game tomorrow than when the teams met in a goalless draw in the Conference south earlier in the season.
The Borough boss is able to recall defender Stuart Playford in place of Gary Elphick who returns to Albion after scoring on his debut in the 3-1 defeat at Dorchester on Saturday.
Darren Baker is also fit after being taken off following a blow to the face at Dorchester but Danny Chapman has still not recovered after the cut on his leg turned septic.
