Performing with the casual ease of a natural raconteur, Tommy Tiernan is a true perfectionist.
He never writes anything down, he works ceaselessly on the style of his delivery and he has an active interest in the mechanics of comedy in all its forms.
Winner of the coveted Perrier Award and the British Comedy Awards' Best Stand-Up prize for his 1998 debut solo show, Tiernan has sold out tours in Australia and New Zealand and topped the bill at Montreal's Just For Laughs and the New York Comedy Festival.
He has also hosted the Stand-Up Show on BBC1 and has a number of acting and movie credits including About Adam, Hold Back The Night and Life Of Stuff.
Returning to the Brighton Comedy Festival for two shows, this globe-trotting comedian will be providing a slew of cutting one-liners and offbeat observations that are sure to raise the roof on the Corn Exchange.
Starts 9.30pm, Tickets £13/£11
