Crawley manager Francis Vines called his side ropey despite seeing them maintain their unbeaten home form with a comfortable 2-0 win against Farnborough Town.
Dan Marney opened the scoring on 23 minutes and Adrian Deane killed the game off with a 20-yard strike shortly after half-time.
Victory was the perfect response by Reds following the disappointment of a 1-0 defeat at Carlisle on Saturday but Vines was still unhappy.
He said: "It was a bit ropey to say the least. We did not really look like conceding and we competed quite well but I was not happy with the way we passed the ball.
"The only pressure came from us giving the ball away in our own half."
Defender Ben Judge is set to miss Saturday's home game against Northwich after being stretchered off after half an hour.
Vines said: "Ben has a big bruise on the top of his foot and will have an X-ray to see how serious it is."
