I recently moved away from Hove after living there for more than 24 years.

Sad to say, my over-riding memory of the area is that it is overrun by Nimbys. I have seen three different plans for the King Alfred site and all schemes have been attacked by the same group of anti-development Nimbys. These are probably the same people who complain about anti-social behaviour in youths.

What is there for young people in Hove to do when the nearest good leisure complex is in Burgess Hill?

It is about time these people realised they live in the real world, change is not a bad thing, and allowed the people of Hove to get the leisure complex they need.
