If Braypool sports ground at Patcham was turned into a park-and-ride centre, the RSPCA, whose animal re-housing shelter is adjacent to the site, would lose many of the facilities currently available to them, including dog walking and training, fund-raising events, a car park and a peaceful location which the public enjoys visiting.
The loss of these facilities would most likely result in closing down the shelter. This would be a great loss to the local community.
Please, Brighton and Hove City Council, find somewhere else.
