East Grinstead responded to a half-time dressing down to stretch their lead at the top of National premier two to ten points.
Trailing 1-0 to Stourport at the interval, Grinstead fought back to run out 4-1 winners.
Player-coach Kwan Browne said: "We knew exactly how they would play but we started slowly and were very lazy in everything we did.
"In the second half we got our act together and were a completely different team. We scored four goals, created four penalty corners and had eight or nine other shots."
Dillet Gilkes drew Grinstead level two minutes after half-time and further goals followed from Ben Payne, Duncan Howarth and Ashley Jackson.
