I find the concept of Brighton and Hove City Council suggesting Wrigley's contribute to the cost of clearing chewing gum from the streets quite unbelievable.
It is yet another facet of our current "not my responsibility" society.
I fail to understand how Wrigley's can be responsible for the vile and filthy habits of people who eject the gum onto the streets and elsewhere in public places. It is these individuals and no one else who are responsible for this particular aspect of the filthy streets in Brighton and Hove.
