I support Brighton and Hove City Council's distribution of green wheelie bins.
They are clean, hygienic and healthier for the environment and deal with the problem of seagulls, rats, dogs, cats and foxes ripping the black plastic bags open.
In this house we recycle most things - newspapers, magazines, cardboard, glass, plastic, aluminium foil, tins, yellow pages, telephone books, oil, batteries - and, as a result, only produce two bags of refuse which easily fits in a wheelie bin.
The council must be supported in their efforts to increase recycling and if everybody does as we do, the recycling scheme can be successful.
With Beddingham refuse quarry nearly full, we don't have much choice.
