The public drinking fountain (dated 1869), situated at the Church Street entrance to the Royal Pavilion, Brighton, has been out of order for many months.
Brighton and Hove City Council has spent more than £14 million on building our new library
nearby under the private finance initiative (surely another name for hire purchase?).
Might I suggest they spend an additional £14 on fixing the faucet in time for summer? Otherwise, I will hold them to book.
