Award-Winning butcher Terry Ley celebrated the royal wedding with a string of sausages.
As Charles and Camilla tied the knot Mr Ley, of WD Hunt butchers, in Broadwater Street West, Worthing, was tying knots of a different kind.
The 57-year-old butcher dug out a recipe used only on special occasions and cooked a 20lb batch of sausages to give away to customers. Preparations started at 7am and continued well into the afternoon.
More than 120 Royal Traditional English sausages, as they were formally christened for the day, were chopped into bite-size pieces and distributed to shoppers.
The shop, which has served the town for more than 100 years, was decked out with bunting and Union Jacks.
Mr Ley said: "We are traditional butcher's and we do things the old-fashioned way.
"I am a traditionalist and I like the Royal Family. We have got a good tradition going and we should celebrate a royal wedding.
"Charles is entitled to be happy just like everybody else. We are always knocking people and it is nice to celebrate."
