I sympathise with Jo Chipchase (The Argus Rant, April 9).
On Saturday, April 2, I posted two birthday cards to my daughter from the main postbox at the corner of Union Place, Worthing, at about 2.30pm.
She received only one of them (from my sister) on her birthday, Monday, April 4. The one from me, addressed properly, postcode in capitals, large pink envelope, has never been received.
So where does this missing post go? Why should one card be received and not the other?
This despite a circular being put through my door previously telling me how efficient the Royal Mail is at delivering mail. I don't think so.
I am very annoyed. My daughter's card was quite special and not cheap to buy. I have also sent two cards and a postcard to a friend in Eastbourne, who has never received any of them.
What's the excuse from the Royal Mail?
