As a red-blooded male, I was disappointed to see the Women's section (The Argus, April 11) trying to persuade women to buy yet more jeans.
Jeans are the most unfeminine garments women could wear yet most women seem to live in the things day in and day out.
Virtually all women in the High Street now look the same.
Not only do their jeans look dirty but they are often faded and frayed at the ankles.
The general impression is British women cannot be bothered to take an interest in their appearance any more and most must be working as garage mechanics.
Why some women even think it is smart to wear jeans with their knees poking out puzzles many visitors to this country.
Males also look like a load of clones.
It doesn't seem possible now that British men and women were once admired the world over for their clean, well-groomed looks and dress sense.
