Technicians at Gatwick have spent three days fixing another faulty Thai airliner.

The Phuket Air Boeing 747 has been grounded on the orders of the UK Department for Transport, which wants repairs done to stop a fuel leak and fix the collision avoidance system.

Another flight, due to land at Gatwick at 8.30am yesterday, has been delayed until today at Bangkok.

Thai newspapers claim only two of the firm's 13 aircraft are flying due to safety fears.
