In defending Hove's excellent reference library, Mollie Taylor (Letters, April 11) mentions Tony Miller, Brighton and Hove City Council's director of cultural services, enthusing over golf.
With the recent discussion of commemorative plaques, I hope Mr Miller will put one up at East Brighton golf club, where Lloyd George often played - indeed, during the Great War, he held Cabinet Meetings there.
I wonder whether Mr Miller might do likewise in his council's current embattled state?
